The Bremo & Jansen project promises to add a different touch to this edition of The Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival. For the first time ever these musicians will be sharing the stage. This can be called an experiment, because of the different influences amongst the musicians. Aruban up coming musicians Michael Bremo and Serghio Jansen are well known for their achievements.
Serghio Jansen
Serghio Jansen graduated at Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor in Music Performance. Currently living in New York, Serghio has had the opportunity to play with great artists such as Oscar Stagnaro, Mark Walker, George Garzone, Alex Han, Alex Brown Randal Corsen, Chucho Valdez, Joey Blake, Darren Barrett and many others. He has been on Jazz venues such as Naguanagua Jazz Fest ,London Jazz Fest and previous editions of The Caribbean Sea Jazz Fest.
Michael Bremo
Michael Bremo currently attending the Jazz Academy at the Rotterdam University for the Arts (Codarts). Toured through the Caribbean and different venues such as the New Years Concert in “Concert Gebouw” where he performed for the Queen of Holland in Amsterdam, NaguaNagua Jazz Fest , Berklee College of Music Latin Week, North Sea Round town and previous editions of the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival. Michael Bremo has performed with many great musicians on the island and also international musicians such as Alex Han, Alex Brown, Oscar Stagnaro, Hein van de Geyn, Neco Novellas, Nederlandse Blazzers Ensemble and many others.

Jean Caze
Jean Caze winner of the 2006 International Trumpet Guild Jazz Competition, and the 2004 National Trumpet Jazz Competition, Jean Caze has emerged as one of today’s most exciting new voices in jazz. At the age of twenty-seven Jean has performed with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Najee, Arturo Sandoval , Roberta Flack, Al Jarreau, and George Duke to name a few. Jean also played with the legendary rock group “Chicago” live on NBC (while in High School), and has opened for the Wynton Marsalis Quartet.
Most recently, the Haitian-born trumpeter won second place in the 2007 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. He has been hailed a “True Improviser” and even compared to Miles Davis by fellow trumpet player Carl Saunders. Though his roots are solidly planted in jazz, Jean can flawlessly switch between genres.
In 2009, Jean went on tour with Atlantic recording artist, Laura Izibor while freelancing in NYC with such groups as Roy Hargrove’s Big Band. Currently, he is on tour with Michael Bublé and working on completing his second CD.

Kyle Miles
Kyle Miles is a twenty-two year-old up-and-coming electric and acoustic bassist in the Boston area. He’s also had the privilege of meeting and playing with or in front of many prominent people such as Herbie Hancock,Roy Hargrove, David Gilmore, Christian Scott, Charles Haynes, Darren Barrett, Walter Beasley, Bill Banfield, Kenwood Denard, Terri Lyne Carrington, Greg Osby, the Kennedy Family, Governor of MA, Deval Patrick, President George Bush, and many others.
Joe Doubleday
Joe Doubleday is a young vibraphonist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After studying classical percussion for 2 years at Oklahoma City University, Joe received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music.
He has had the opportunity to perform with many well-known musicians such as, Aaron Goldberg, Reuben Rodgers, Oscar Stagnaro, Dave Liebman, Jason Palmer, and Godwin Louis. Joe also played with the Ralph Peterson Fo’tet. Joe remains one of the top call vibraphonists in Boston and the surrounding areas. In 2011, Joe toured Switzerland with The Boston Collective and was invited to play at the Casa de Teatro Jazz Festival in the Dominican Republic.
