Founder of the Aruban Art Ensemble,Aruban Delbert Bernabela has included the saxophone, flute and clarinet in his instrumental arsenal. He plays the blues, contemporary music, dance, Latin and pop, but also classical music. Influenced by Dexter Gordon, Bill Evans, Kirk Whalum and Israel Houghton, Delbert has broadened his horizons; he is now a top arranger, composer, computer music composer, conductor and teacher. Bernabela has a Bachelor’s Degree from the Berklee College of Music.
