Muziekschool Bigband Aruba. Critically acclaimed guitarist Ivan Jansen, best known for his fantastic renditions of Aruba’s favorite local music, is guitar instructor at the Scol di Musica Rufo Wever (SMRW), where he heads the SMRW Jazz Ensemble. Together with piano instructor Johnny Croes, who is the man behind the Big Band department, he and a group of very talented students will be performing on stage at the festival. Their performances are the result of long hours of practice and the honing and fine-tuning of their skills.
